This position will be primarily responsible for developing, configuring, implementing, testing, maintaining, supporting, and documenting Open Text Exstream Dialogue templates and applications. This individual will need to have worked in a high-growth, rapid-turnaround environment using Exstream to its full capability. This includes demonstrated experience with advanced Exstream functionality such as variable design, real-time composition, advanced data and content integration, output to multiple document formats, and high-volume workflow optimization. This position will interface regularly with the Client Implementations team, Account Management, Sales, Process Audit, Software Engineering, and other functions as required.

Essential Functions

Works with a team to develop software applications from inception through completion

Analysis of requirements, software design, development, documentation, and deployment

Works with the client implementation team to manage timelines and deliverables to the client during the course of the project

Testing and troubleshooting, as well as documentation of designs

Designing of forms for printing and mailing. Forms will be designed in Exstream mapping applications

Thorough testing and proofing of forms

Makes recommendations and advises senior leadership related to streamlining process, potential risks, solutions and initiatives required

Helps to validate Exstream standards and design best practices as used by other template developers

Customarily and regularly exercises the use of independent discretion and judgment regarding matters of significance

Evaluates and compares possible courses of action and makes recommendations based on various possibilities

Advises management as applicable on matters related to Client Integration Engineering

Regular and predictable attendance is required


High School Diploma or equivalent

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant field preferred


3+ years of experienced using OpenText Exstream or other enterprise document design software

Leading and guiding other template developers

Knowledge of basic SQL queries

Knowledge of C# a plus

Crystal Reports experience a plus


Advanced knowledge of Exstream and its internal workings and coding while using best practices when designing documents

Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adaptable to change

Professional and positive demeanor and customer service mindset

Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and track numerous tasks and deliverables often involving multiple contributors

Working Conditions

Work is performed in climate controlled indoor administrative office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, depending upon office or meeting location.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to remain stationary. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 10 pounds. Vision: Close and distance required with ability to see objects in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g., computer screen). Speech/Hearing: Frequently interact with management, vendors, coworkers, industry constituents, clients and the public.
