**Summary/Objective ?**
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting marketing operations by compiling, formatting, and reporting information and materials.
**Essential Functions**

+ Conduct market research to support all marketing endeavors.
+ Keep the marketing database up-to-date by inputting new data, updating old records and performing crosschecks.
+ Track marketing efforts and monitor results.
+ Provide administrative support to the marketing department.
+ Assist in developing marketing materials.
+ Conduct market research and analyze consumer rating reports/ questionnaires.
+ Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success.
+ Purchase promotional products.
+ Prepares mailers and brochures by formatting content and graphics; arranging printing and internet packages.
+ Prepare and deliver promotional presentations.
+ Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company s presence in the market.
+ Maintains marketing library by checking and replenishing inventory.
+ Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
+ Research business opportunities and proposals.
+ Generate Maximum leads from various sources.
+ Assist in coordinating various marketing methods including, direct mail, networking, internet, social media, and develop new methods of marketing.
+ Converting leads into opportunities.
+ Assist with social media outreach.
+ Experience using a camera and editing photos.
**Competencies**
+ Must be able to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
+ Proven experience as a marketing assistant
+ Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
+ Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
+ Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
+ Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
+ Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications.
+ Excellent communication and people skills
+ High School diploma; BSc in Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage.
**Education and Experience**
+ Bachelor s degree in a marketing related field from a four-year college or university or a minimum of two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination
**Travel**
Less than 5% travel
**Work Environment**
This job operates in a clerical, open office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
**Physical Demands**
This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
