This position entails being primarily responsible for meeting with Franchises and Chamber of Commerce Members and presenting effective and efficient analyses, value-added programs and various other programs to assist partners and practice groups in their client development and retention efforts. Other responsibilities include: preparing materials for presentations, utilizing our CRM system to support business development activities, and tracking, measuring and reporting on results (ROI) of initiatives. This role will take the lead in developing, proposing, executing, auditing, optimizing, and reporting on business development goals.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Effectively sell the company s overall products and services to Franchises
+ Effectively build relationships with 15 Franchises a week.
+ Retain 1 account within the first 90 days, then, 1 account every 30 days thereafter.
+ Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company products(s)/services(s) while on-site
+ Develop, propose, execute, audit, optimize and report on business development goals
+ Develop and implement a tracking, measuring and reporting system and will provide information on ROI initiatives
+ Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base.
+ Effectively sell the company brand to prospective business owners
+ Cold-calling prospects that are generated by external lead sources
+ Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process
+ Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and email
**Required Education and Experience:**
+ Minimum of 1-3 years of business development experience in merchant services/payment processing
+ 3 years experience in Sales
+ Must be detail oriented and manage time efficiently
+ Ability to show initiative and be a self-starter
+ Ability to work in a goal-oriented environment
+ Working knowledge of MAC computers and Microsoft Office preferred
+ Demonstrated ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
+ Valid Driver s License and Clean Driving Record
**Work Environment**
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
